I heard u like 2 thrash.

The bitter end. The final scene in the play that is our lives. That Black Sabbath tour. It’s something that’s been on my mind frequently of late (the concept, not the Sabbath tour) and I can’t seem to shake it. Every single day we close in on it, some of us crawling and others flying at it head first. Every step out of the house, and even some within, contain the potential to be the end. How will we go? Disease? Accident? Super sweet nuclear hellfire like that dream from Terminator 2? The end could come in any variety of ways, whether it be individually or collectively, but there’s only one proper soundtrack for it: Thrash.

More specifically Bangladeshi thrash. It’s a scene that feels like it’s ready to explode at any moment. It’s violent and manic but in a way that feels fresh and vital like the best of scenes when they really start rounding into their own. Enter Exalter, their debut full length, and their truly wicked logo. This formidable trio specialize in an extra thicc style of Teutonic chaos with some grotesquely mind warping vocals on top. They’re a thrash maniac’s wet dream, and they really prove it on their first and soon to be released LP, Persecution Automated.

Today we bring you a meaty cut off of said album titled “The Dreaded End.” It’s the perfect soundtrack to our impending doom, and if you’re destined to die while sitting on your toilet it’ll at least seem cooler if you die surrounded by these RIFFZ.

Exalter’s debut Persecution Automated drops on December 28th via Transcending Obscurity Records. You can preorder it here and give the band a like on Facebook here.
