In the murky pantheon of death metal disasters, few albums can stand toe-to-toe with The Unspoken King, an album from Cryptopsy that really beggars belief. An album like Illud Divinum Insanus will inevitably attract retrospective appraisal because of its badly calculated swings and because of its colossally botched misses.
