Take me to the riverbed “Rotting in bed” has become an oft-used phrase, especially among the younger generations. For some, it’s simply a phrase for hanging around and scrolling on your phone. For others, it’s a euphemism for depression. The ambiguity takes away some of the severity of mental illness and I suppose that’s the point. A better, more severe term, may be something like becoming “One With The Riverbed”.
