Arrested development, trapped under ice There was a trend you may have picked up on from the late 2010s and early 2020s (what do you mean it’s been 6 years since the pandemic?), formed within the OSDM revival: a number of bands with heavy hardcore influence whose sound closest resembles Bolt Thrower worship.
