{"id":108175,"date":"2021-05-10T09:09:18","date_gmt":"2021-05-10T14:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/toiletovhell.com\/?p=108175"},"modified":"2021-05-10T09:09:18","modified_gmt":"2021-05-10T14:09:18","slug":"tmp-diskord-sodom-gwar-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toiletovhell.com\/tmp-diskord-sodom-gwar-more\/","title":{"rendered":"TMP: Diskord, Sodom, GWAR &amp; More!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Joe&#8217;s three-legged pug that insists on eating literally anything and everything ate The Stick, and now all you&#8217;ve got is a lot of music links, with very little news items.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Inhuman Condition<\/strong>, formed from the two latest former members of <strong>Massacre<\/strong>, Jeramie Kling and Taylor Nordberg, with Terry Butler (<strong>Obituary<\/strong>, ex-<strong>Death<\/strong>, ex-<strong>SFU<\/strong>, ex-<strong>Massacre<\/strong>), released a video from their upcoming debut, originally written to be the next Massacre record, before they were replaced with Rogga Johansson and Jonny Pettersson, and uhhh&#8230; uhhh&#8230; uhhh&#8230; I&#8217;m not sure it was a wise move. The logo is just Massacre&#8217;s and the cover art is authentic enough but &#8220;Euphoriphobia&#8221; screams &#8220;don&#8217;t let them release me, bury me in a vault never to be found&#8221;. It is a black metal band rooted in the early &#8217;90s tradition and slathered with lots of synths. It debuts at a time when the demand for synth-laden black metal is at an all-time high\u2014at least since the &#8217;90s\u2014beside the overworked Vanhala who&#8217;s already pulling the chief songwriting duties for <strong>Omnium Gatherum<\/strong> and <strong>Insomnium<\/strong>, from which both bands have suffered, but who had to fill the touring void somehow. It features the former Omnium Gatherum alumnus Janne Markkanen and <strong>Paradise Lost<\/strong>\/<strong>Bloodbath<\/strong> drummer Waltteri V\u00e4yrynen and Okko Solanter\u00e4. At least I think it was good. The project is now back and has allegedly taken a turn towards symphonic deathcore. That&#8217;s not how I would describe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kJ7LZ0ZvTts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this new song,<\/a> although I guess I kinda see where the claim comes from and the almighty lords of Metal-Archives have never yet been wrong about anything.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mac Sabbath<\/strong> will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2021\/05\/06\/news\/mac-sabbath-to-release-drive-thru-metal-pop-up-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">releasing a pop-up book<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Aftershock Festival <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2021\/05\/07\/news\/the-original-misfits-in-this-moment-august-burns-red-etc-added-to-2021-aftershock-festival\/\"
