It’s Thanksgiving week here in the US, which for many of us means finding new and interesting ways to avoid talking to our families. We here at the Toilet ov Hell have your back with this week’s new release list; there’s a ton of stuff to throw on to drown out the noise of your cop brother-in-law pissing and moaning about antifa or BLM or what have you. Check out our suggestions and tell us what you’re jamming to avoid conversation this week.

Like a million different artists – Forza 5 Horizon: Hospital Soundtrack (Hospital Records) [Jungle] Bet a y’all cowards didn’t see this one coming. Ever since the Forza Horizon 5 announcement, I’ve been salivating for this record. Everyone and their mother knows that the only station worth listening to in FH is the Hospital Records Station. Move aside Punk/Rock station; if I’m going to drive recklessly in a pimped out JDM car, only the finest Drum and Bass for me, good sir. While the FH4 Hospital Soundtrack was a little hit and miss, this album features 20 original tracks from only the finest artists off the Hospital Records lineup and let me tell you: ALL BANGERS. Whether you’re struggling to hit 80 km/hr in your shit box Chevy Sonic or rolling coal beside a packed school bus with its windows down, this is the record for you. Since like 90% of y’all are just finding out this station is actually getting a record release, its worth noting that the 3xLP is already sold out and is going to be on Discogs for like $200 in like 6 months. Catch me on the shoulder doing the robot while getting written up for speeding next week. 11/26/21 (Uncle Fuck)

Fortress – Don’t Spare the Wicked (High Roller Records) [Heavy/Power Metal] Ever wish that Thundersteel-era Riot went a little more power metal? Yeah, me neither, since that album’s basically perfect, but Fortress dares ask anyway. The results are pretty sweet; Don’t Spare the Wicked sounds like it’ll be a bit riffier than the standard power metal fare and a little cleaner (and cheesier) than your typical speed metal act, and I’m here for all of this. It also sounds surprisingly reserved for the genre; for all its soaring vocals and shreddy guitar work, the prominent, steady synths and somewhat melancholy vibe of the tunes shown off so far keeps it from ever feeling too much at any given point. It’s shaping up to be a solid release, and you may want to give it a shot even if it’s not your usual type of listen. 11/26/21 (Spear)

Alien Force – We Meet Again (From the Vaults) [Heavy Metal] Black Crucifixion – Triginta (Seance Records) [Black Metal] Black Label Society – Doom Crew Inc.
