But what are we\u00a0<\/em>actually<em>\u00a0listening to? \u201cCircling the Bowl\u201d is a weekly series where we get to share the jams we\u2019ve been truly been jamming, and we invite you all to share as well.<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Hans<\/strong> &#8211; I came across the Into the Combine podcast and listened to their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TgxLterHw-o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">discography run of <strong>Immortal<\/strong><\/a>, so I hopped in once again myself. With much restraint, I managed to only order two new Immortal patches.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Blizzard Beasts<\/em> &#8211; production issues aside, it&#8217;s waaaay better than I initially gave it credit for.<\/li>\n<li><em>Battles in the North <\/em>&#8211; realized for the first time that its weird issues (sloppy drumming, songs cutting off) basically disappear from track 5 onward.<\/li>\n<li><em>At the Heart of Winter<\/em> &#8211; may not be my absolute favorite anymore.<\/li>\n<li><em>All Shall Fall<\/em> &#8211; still unequivocally mid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Rolderathis<\/strong> &#8211; My musical thawing continues\u2014I managed to listen to an hour+ blackened death metal album from this year, so it&#8217;s official. Otherwise, I&#8217;ve been listening to oldies and tentatively dipping my talons into a few tracks here and there from &#8217;23 TTT posts. Oh, and imbibing a stream of bangers through our Discord&#8217;s Tunes &#8216;N Tell submissions per ush.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Void Dancer<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/voiddancer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prone Burial<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(Fav track: &#8220;High Tide Theatre&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Asphagor<\/strong> &#8211; <em><a href=\"https:\/\/asphagor.bandcamp.com\/album\/pyrogenesis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pyrogenesis<\/a><\/em> (Fav track: &#8220;The Summoning&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Killing Capacity<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/killingcapacity.bandcamp.com\/album\/shattered-souls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shattered Souls<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(Fav track: &#8220;Skin Them Alive&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Universally Estranged<\/strong> &#8211; <em><a href=\"https:\/\/bloodharvestrecords.bandcamp.com\/album\/dimension-of-deviant-clusters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dimension of Deviant Clusters<\/a><\/em> (Fav track: &#8220;Psychic Laceration&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Darkenh\u00f6ld<\/strong> &#8211; <em><a href=\"https:\/\/darkenhold.bandcamp.com\/album\/atra-musica-griffon-darkenh-ld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atra Musica<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(Fav track: &#8220;Citadelle d&#8217;Obsidienne&#8221;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Joaquin Stick<\/strong> &#8211; I wasn\u2019t quite hitting an album per day for the first two months of the year, but starting out strong with 16 in March so far. Give me that tooty fretless bass vocoder alien death metal all day.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\"><strong>BAAZLVAAT<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/baazlvaat.bandcamp.com\/album\/incredible-world\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Incredible World<\/em><\/a>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let the kvlt MS paint Liger and rockets guide you on a technicolor black metal journey with weirdo guitars n\u2019 synths, janky drum production, and goofy wonder.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mithrandir<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/mithrandirband.bandcamp.com\/album\/towards-the-spires-of-dol-guldur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Towards the Spire of Dol Guldur<\/em><\/a>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<em>Sorry babe not tonight, me and the boys are adjourning the entmoot to go topple Orthanc.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>P\u00faca<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/moonworshipper.bandcamp.com\/album\/demo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Demo<\/em><\/a>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I will listen to your demo if it has a nice bear on it.
