In these rare cases, I&#8217;ll reach for something more challenging\u2014like tech death, or the video game equivalent, puzzle games. Something to sink those wrinkles a few picometers deeper. Luckily for me, the 9-year wait for a follow-up to Croteam&#8217;s <em>The Talos Principle<\/em> came to an end this week. They&#8217;re the sort of games that are best experienced with little foreknowledge\u2014all you need to know is they&#8217;re in the vein of <em>Portal<\/em>, but with a more complex, philosophical narrative\/vibe. (Also, there are cats.)
