{"id":71731,"date":"2017-09-28T13:00:55","date_gmt":"2017-09-28T18:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.toiletovhell.com\/?p=71731"},"modified":"2017-09-28T07:28:09","modified_gmt":"2017-09-28T12:28:09","slug":"premiere-come-back-from-the-dead-horrifies-us-with-endless-bloodshed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toiletovhell.com\/premiere-come-back-from-the-dead-horrifies-us-with-endless-bloodshed\/","title":{"rendered":"Premiere: Come Back From The Dead Horrifies Us with &#8220;Endless Bloodshed&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Spain has been a hotbed of interesting metal for decades, and in recent years has been a powerhouse of good death metal. <!--more-->Some of my absolute favorite recent death metal bands, such as the mighty\u00a0<strong>Domains\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>Graveyard<\/strong>, spawned from Spain&#8217;s rich death metal scene, as has one of my favorite newer record labels, the powerful\u00a0<strong>Memento Mori.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rising from this same scene comes the next great Spanish death metal band,\u00a0<strong>Come Back From The Dead<\/strong>, featuring members of\u00a0<strong>Bokluk\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Nashgul<\/strong>\u00a0and finally ready to bash in our collective heads with another swirling and seething slab of classic death metal- their first release since their debut full length, <em>The Coffin Earth&#8217;s Entrails<\/em>, came out in 2014. The riffs on this first\u00a0track, &#8220;Endless Bloodshed,&#8221; slither and squirm as howling vocals call forth an anthem of death, decay, and endless hunger. The goal of Come Back From The Dead is to swamp us in the twisted leads of the ancient Finnish scene in between crushing rhythms and grave-calling vocals, and this track certainly brings the twisted evil that you&#8217;d expect for the style.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring a cover from accomplished artist\u00a0<strong>Cesar Valladares\u00a0<\/strong>and a mastering job from\u00a0<strong>Henrik Jonsson\u00a0<\/strong>(perhaps best known for his work with<strong> Merciless<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Unleashed<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Grave<\/strong>), this EP (coming soon on\u00a0CD from <strong>Transcending Obscurity<\/strong> and 10&#8243; vinyl from <strong>Mono Caniba<\/strong>l) won&#8217;t be\u00a0a release to be missed.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/344261532%3Fsecret_token%3Ds-JQWTc&amp;color=%23ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;visual=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\n<hr \/>\n<p>You can hear more of\u00a0<em>Caro Data Vermibus<\/em> on <a href=\"https:\/\/cbftd.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bandcamp<\/a>!
