Like just about everything nowadays, they seemingly came out of nowhere, got a lot of hype, and then kind of just faded away. Maybe that&#8217;s just the fickle nature of metal. Maybe it was the band&#8217;s alleged Nazi sympathizing. Maybe it was their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brooklynvegan.com\/black-metal-ban\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">softest of denials<\/a> about the whole thing. Who knows? They still receive praise from critics and go on tour, so it&#8217;s not like they&#8217;ve disappeared. It just feels like people got over them pretty quickly.
