It rips, it slices, it cuts straight to the bone; this is some of the most vicious blackened tech death I&#8217;ve heard in some time. They take the melodic sensibility of <strong>Arsis<\/strong> and filter it through the technical attack of <strong>Enfold Darkness<\/strong> and the extended range proficiency of <strong>Revocation<\/strong>; those are some lofty comparisons, but they are well-earned. I am pleased as hell to bring you &#8220;Bestowal of Decay,&#8221; the first single from their upcoming full-length debut,\u00a0<em>Savior<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  style=\"display: block; margin: 0px auto;\"  id=\"_ytid_40863\"  width=\"320\" height=\"240\"  data-origwidth=\"320\" data-origheight=\"240\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/O8DuwasDEuY?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;modestbranding=0&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"fullscreen; accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The band&#8217;s 2016 EP, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/unflesh.bandcamp.com\/releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transcendence to Eternal Obscurity<\/a><\/em>, was already a pretty hefty work of tech death (due in no small part to <strong>Hannes Grossmann<\/strong>&#8216;s intense drum performance), but they seek to top it in every respect on\u00a0<em>Saviors<\/em>. &#8220;Bestowal of Decay&#8221; shows that they&#8217;re serious about it; it&#8217;s faster, more technical, and covers a far wider range of the fretboard in one song than anything they&#8217;ve done previously, but it&#8217;s also catchier and more melodic. Ryan Beevers, the project&#8217;s brainchild, has rounded out the lineup with Chris Dovas and Peter De Reyna of <strong>Seven Spires<\/strong> on drums and bass respectively, as well as Chris Gardino of <strong>Pathogenic<\/strong>, each of whom showcases a ridiculous amount of raw skill. Despite having been a full band for less than two years, they sound like seasoned veterans, and <em>Saviors<\/em> promises to be a worthy addition to the ever-growing ranks of awesome tech death releases lately.<\/p>\n<p><em>Saviors<\/em> is out on May 25th, available on <strong>Unflesh<\/strong>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/unflesh.bandcamp.com\/releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bandcamp<\/a>.
