At least, I feel like it sucks ass. This is the least Spear-friendly set of new music in some time, so I don’t know what’s good here beyond the sole album I’ve got highlighted below. If there’s other stuff that’s worth listening to, post it in the comments.<\/p>\n

Putrescine – Putrescent Utterance (Independent) [Death Metal]<\/strong>
\nStream<\/a><\/p>\n

Putrescine<\/strong> is one of those bands that doesn’t do anything particularly special, but they do their thing really well. It’s big, dirty, beefy death metal in the vein of\u00a0Adramelech<\/strong> et. al., with grimy production to match its grimy riffs. If that sounds like your thing, then you can’t go wrong with this.\u00a02\/15\/20<\/strong> (Spear)<\/p>\n
