- Bolt Thrower has some news. Earache is releasing Realm of Chaos on vinyl and the band wrote a nice post about their deceased drummer Kiddie Kearns while possibly hinting at a release of some archived material?
- Weltesser released a new video for their album that came out in January.
- Marduk will be entering the studio after their US tour, so sometime around September.
- Founding guitarist Anders Björler has left At the Gates, citing a lack of passion, .

- Sludge metal band Lord Mantis is done with live shows due to the passing of their drummer in October.
- Propagandhi is recording their next album.
- 20 Buck Spin is releasing Oranssi Pazuzu’s back catalog.
- Hardcore band Incendiary will release a new album in May.
- Death metal band Deicide says their newest album is almost done and they posted a few upcoming tour dates.
