- Speaking of Cannibal Corpse, they completed their next album, which will be released this fall.
- The Black Dahlia Murder set a release date of October 6 on their upcoming album. They also played a new song live.
- Orange Goblin started working on studio album #10.
- Doomy-electro band Necro Deathmort released a song and set a release date of October 6 via Profound Lore. This is kinda neat.
- Zao says that they should have an EP out this year and an album out next year. That’s a lot of content, considering their last LP came out at the end of 2016.
- Myrkur released a new song via NPR, album out September 15.
- 36 Crazyfists released a new song off their upcoming album and put it on Soundcloud. I’m not sure how many more times I’ll be able to say that.
- The Faceless amazingly only missed one date of the Summer Slaughter tour, but unsurprisingly split less-than-amicably with their drummer.
- Hardcore dudes in Lionheart are getting the band back together.
- I’m including the George Lynch + Michael Sweet album news in here for pretty much one person.
- King Parrot released a new track from their upcoming album Ugly Produce.
- Vattnet have a new song up over at Revolver. After getting some context in the recent podcast, I think I will enjoy this less-metal release.
- Mastodon released a “Sultan’s Curse” tour visual.
- Progressive metal band Terria released a song. Debut album coming August 19th.
