Hot damn! On this week’s episode Gen X Correspondent scores an interview with Michael “Away” Langevin. Away talks about providing the orchestra cues from some of the band’s favorite cyperpunk movies, attempting to mic up every single piece of the orchestra, members of the symphony catching Voivod for lifting classical passages in their songs, learning how to make digital art in the early 80s and getting a band new computer with earnings from Probot, working on an 80s-style video game called Nuclear Warrior, the Story of Voivod, and creating art in every city on tour. For a little added color, Joe and Jordan talk about other bands that have experimented with the orchestra and we track down a 1999 Guitar World issue focused on Metallica’s S&M.
