Didn’t know what I was getting into but Under the Pledge of Secrecy’s progressively flavoured, blackened melodeath sounds very much up an alley or two, mine too. It’s got the dynamics, the mix is decent and the riffs, leads and melodies are quirky and intense, bringing into mind a particular tech death band whose name I can’t recall for the moment, though otherwise the band would seem to lack ‘the tech’. 12/10/19 (Karhu)

They advertised mechanized blastbeats and I was all for it. After listening to their single, “Wolves + Witches,” I don’t think they know what blastbeats are.
