Toilet Tuesday continues to roll out with no regard for peoples’ schedules, personal lives, or ever-increasing music backlog. This week was a little light on stuff that interested me, but I found one album to dig into whenever it should release. Check out that list and let us know if we missed anything.
Pillory – Scourge upon Humanity (Unique Leader) [Tech Death]

Start your morning off right with the extremely Unique Leader-ass tech death of Pillory, solo project of drummer extraordinaire Darren Cesca (ex-Arsis, Deeds of Flesh). This is every bit as spidery and flashy as you might expect with that combination of label and cover art, but it veers into prog territory at points with some weird melodies and time signatures. I’m sure it’ll be too much for a lot of people, but tech death stalwarts will definitely get some enjoyment out of this. 12/18/20 (Spear)
