Premiere: Ninth Realm – “Imbued in Hellfire”

I know what you’re all thinking right now: you have a long week of carving a trail of bloody conquest through the frozen wastes ahead of you, and you need something to keep you motivated as you cleave your enemies in twain. Fear not, for Ninth Realm are no strangers to fighting fierce battle across fantastical kingdoms, and they have just the thing for you. “Imbued in Hellfire” is the newest song from their upcoming album, Damnation’s Veil, and it also describes exactly what it will do to your soul, blaring forth hellaciously as you wade into the melee. Much like the song itself, the band has chosen to keep it to the point:

“Minimalist” in this case does not mean boring; it just means this is some straightforward fuck-you music with no higher concept save for the concept of putting really good riffs into your ears. This song blazes with the hellfire of its namesake and the sword that the swagged-out evil knight on the cover art is wielding. The horse he’s riding on listened to this song once, and fire and brimstone started billowing out its eye sockets. This song can and will induce CTE via moshing. Ninth Realm are waging a war against brain wrinkles, and this song is their newest weapon of choice.
