Dimmu Borgir – Interdimensional Summit: A GIF Breakdown
Strobe lights, makeup, cheesy keyboards, and spikes on every goddamn thing? Dimmu Borgir is back, baby!
Dimmu Borgir has been around for 25 years. They’ve sold a butt ton of records and toured the world over and over and I just don’t get it. My earliest memory of the band was seeing their shirt for sale on the wall of band tees at Hot Topic. When I finally listened their music years later I was blown away by how silly it all seemed. Between the band’s over-the-top costumes and makeup and the bombast of horns and keyboards, it all seemed like a big joke.
After a seven year absence, Dimmu Borgir returns with their upcoming 10th full-length EONIAN. Will it be any less silly than their previous records? If lead single “Interdimensional Summit” is any indication, the answer is a resounding LOLBUTTZ.

I just realized the reason Galder’s face looks so distracting is because he put makeup on top of his mustache. Next level creepy.
