Before we get to votin’, we’ve gotta talk about what happened last week during our preliminary finals. Everything was very normal, then (as has happened to several polls both here and in whatever-the-fuck reality we inhabit) some suss shit starting happening. Someone decided they REALLY wanted their picks to matter more than everyone else’s and banged somewhere between 300-400 consecutive votes for both Mastodon and Loss. However, as we’d been monitoring the feed during polling, it was easy enough to just negate this bullshit and know that Leviathan would still have just pipped Unortheta, and Mirror Reaper had a fairly comfortable win over Horizonless.
