Symphonic/Operatic/Power/whatever you want to call them metal band Nightwish have been doing their thing since 1996. They blazed a path for that style of music that is still going strong, especially in Europe, to this day. Whether it’s been Tarja Turunen, Anette Olzen, or Floor Jansen handling the vocals, the band’s emphasis on powerful singing and grandiosity has cemented their place in heavy metal history. They are a “big name on the festival” band and, at this point in their career, they have enough diehard fans to sell just about anything with their name on it. Like a coin purse.

That’s right, you too can now keep the change for laundry day in a stylish little bag because the other people at the laundromat may be thinking “Hmmm, they look like they know all the words to “Nemo”, but I’m not positive. Sure, they’re carefully folding lots of frilly shirts and long, flowing gowns, but that can mean anything!

The back features owls. Lots of owls. Staring. Silently. Watching. Observing. Watching for the right moment when you drop a field mouse, stoat, or vole. Or for when Nightwish unceremoniously kicks out another member. Really, either one can happen first.

This special item was sold at the legendary Nightwish live show in Kitee in 2023. The Purse is Est 1996 and Owl themed. The specially made coin features the date of the show (16.6.2023) on the other side and a map of Kitee on the other.
