This week we’ve got breakfast crossover, blue castle-core, and rival sun bands that can’t decide what that fiery orb should be up to. The waters are murky with blackened influence this week, so make sure to awaken those bioluminescent bacteria in your skin sacs before you dive in!

Chorosia is a band fluent in chaos—from Orion Landau’s fever dream artwork to complex compositions that threaten to unravel at a moment’s notice, you won’t find your footing easily. Borrowing from acts as diverse as Mastodon, Suffering Hour, and Iced Earth (sans all the bad guys), lead single “Hands, Switchblades, and Vile Vortices” weaves galloping power/trad riffs together with sludgy octave chords and psychedelic flourishes into a unique sound that’s sure to keep you on the edge of the bowl.
