Welcome to the first show of our star-spangled Halloween Spooktacular. We’re joined by Doktor Ross Sewage of Exhumed to talk about dead presidents, G.I. Joe, Ghoul artwork, and Frankenstein’s Army. This week we all watched the 2013 found-footage horror film Frankenstein’s Army and were honestly blown away by a movie NONE of us were excited to watch. It’s on Shudder right now so if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend going and watching that shit right now, then come back and hear us break it down. Ross fills us in with the making-of details as we talk about a doomed Soviet battalion investigating a mysterious distress signal from the coolest abandoned mine in the Czech Republic. I cannot stress this enough: Watch this movie. In addition to being chock-filled with insane practical effects and buckets of goo, it presents a more accurate depiction of WWII than your average film.
