- Steven Wilson released a third song. I think I like this one best, but still not as pumped as I’d like to be for the new album.
- Entheos signed with Spinefarm Records, so one would assume a second LP is coming soon.
- The Atlas Moth signed with Prosthetic Records and started recording new album.
- Nachtmystium is planning on a September release for their next album.
- I haven’t had a chance to listen to the interview, but Devin Townsend is apparently working with an orchestra and writing “soft rock” songs.
- Chris Barnes did some voice acting for an animated series.
- Head over to Metal Injection to hear Spirit Adrift’s rendition of “Man of Constant Sorrow”. The only thing wrong with this release is the split is only two songs.
- Sumac is planning to record a new album this year.
- Long-time guitarist and vocalist for Leprous, Øystein Landsverk, left the band amicably.
- Every Time I Die has a bunch of Canadian and a few US dates with Knocked Loose.

- Texas thrash band Warbeast released some details of their next album after the announcement of their vocalist’s esophageal cancer diagnosis.
- Testament, Annihilator, and Death Angel announced a European tour.
- Necrophobic is releasing a two-song EP in August.
- Peter Tagtgren’s Pain project is touring the US for the first time.
