Jamey Jasta has achieved more than every hardcore vocalist ever. Combined. For a genre with a fairly low ceiling for success, Jasta smashed through that with Hatebreed having a bunch of hits just as people turned away from Nu-Metal and leaned into Metalcore and Hardcore. Jasta parlayed that success into a a spot on Ozzfest, gig hosting MTV’s resurrected Headbangers Ball, and countless major tours and festival appearances.

From there, he has been buying up intellectual properties, headlining reanimated tours, occasionally putting out new music while feuding with fired band members, and hosting a podcast. Ever the entrepreneur, Jamey Jasta has even released podcast-related merchandise. Like this:

Yeeeeah. Who wouldn’t want a shirt that says “FETUS BRO”? Perfect for all occasions! School! Church! Grandma’s funeral! A baby’s gender reveal party. As the description says “Tribute shirt for death metal heroes DYING FETUS! As talked about on the Jasta Show.” So it’s not a Dying Fetus shirt. It doesn’t say Dying Fetus on there. No royalty checks for you guys. It’s just a reference to something said on a podcast. A jokey-joke. I haven’t listened to the show, but I’m venturing a guess that it’s people saying “Fetus Bro” over and over again to the deafening roars of the softest chuckles while people listen at their mind-numbing jobs. Good stuff. Limited Edition for a reason.

Can’t wait to put out the Toilet Ov Hell podcast “HONK HONK HONK!” shirt or maybe a “SEGWAY!” shirt. Cause that’s what people want. References to obscure things from limited media outlets. At least you can wear that in public and not have to explain anything with a look of absolute shame on your face. Then you have to explain what “Toilet Ov Hell” is, but you do it with a big smile and bass in your voice. Right? Right.
