- Gone is Gone, a supergroup made up of members of Mastodon, QOTSA, and At the Drive In have an EP and a Live Show coming up. No news yet on which version of a supergroup they will be, forgettable or bad.
- Djenty hardcore band, Architects, released a video for new song, album to come May 27th.
- Cetacean have started writing their next album, according to their Facebook page.
- I don’t think anyone who is a Gojira fan could have missed another teaser video they put out last week, but here it is just in case.
- Periphery has basically finished recording their next album, Periphery III.
- This week in “Fuck…Really?” news, Axl Rose has officially taken over as the frontman of AC(Harry Potter Scar)DC.
- Power Metal dudes, Whispered, have released a new lyric video.
- NYC’s Martyrdoom Fest is not happening this year after a 4-year stretch of bringing the doom to the apple.
- Eternal Kahn is finished with their next album, so mark your calendars for some doom on May 13th.
- Dark Decent Records is rereleasing some old material from Cabal and Insanity.
