This Toilet Tuesday (4/23/19)
It’s Toilet Tuesday, and I’m once again throwing more music at you than you could possibly hope to listen to in a single lifetime. I’m just gonna cut to the chase and let you get to listening- there’s some good stuff out this week- but as always, let us know if we missed anything.

My love for disgusting death metal is second only to shiny tech death, and Filtheater is as nasty as they come. Everything from the guttural vocals to the chaotic leads and gurgling bass is coated in grime, and the riffs are equally nasty. Strains of Demilich, Adramelech, and Incantation pulse through its veins, but the music takes on a sort of brutal death metal flavor atop its OSDM leanings that gives it all a bit more kick. For filth of an entirely different variety, you’ll want to get your hands on this newest EP from Bat. There are exactly zero surprises to be had on Axestasy– this is as straightforward as speed metal gets- but this one is all about the execution. It’s vicious and mean, with a little bit of a punky thrash feel, and it makes for a fun 13-minute listen or so. 4/26/19 (Spear)
