You don’t need me to tell you that Venom Prison is going to put out quality music. Hell, I probably barely even need to talk about the music itself (though I am curious if the unique sound of “Pain of Oizys” is going to be a one-off or if it’s representative of a larger part of the album). No, instead, I’m here to get on my soapbox and complain about how Century Media still isn’t on Bandcamp in 2022. Come on, guys; you’ll be opening yourselves up to a much wider audience if you do. Metal Blade is on BC, as are Napalm and even fucking Nuclear Blast. Get with the times. Anyway, Venom Prison rules, and Erebos is shaping up to be nasty as ever while exploring some new sounds for the band. 2/4/22 (Spear)
