Yo, this week sucks ass.
At least, I feel like it sucks ass. This is the least Spear-friendly set of new music in some time, so I don’t know what’s good here beyond the sole album I’ve got highlighted below. If there’s other stuff that’s worth listening to, post it in the comments.
Putrescine – Putrescent Utterance (Independent) [Death Metal]

Putrescine is one of those bands that doesn’t do anything particularly special, but they do their thing really well. It’s big, dirty, beefy death metal in the vein of Adramelech et. al., with grimy production to match its grimy riffs. If that sounds like your thing, then you can’t go wrong with this. 2/15/20 (Spear)
