Time Decay – Life to Fall Apart (Independent) [Power]
Much as I love the Twilight Forces and Dragonforces of the world (lots of -Force bands), the best power metal will always be the type with a dude wailing over the top of riffs that make you go, “Hell yeah.” Based on having heard exactly one (1) song from Time Decay, I can now confidently say that they are of the latter type of power metal. “Ocean Is Not Silent” is nonstop rollicking riffage and sick shreds, complete with a bit of cheesy narration towards the end and a singer who sounds vaguely reminiscent of the late Warrel Dane.
