Once again we gather round the throne and mourn the lives it has claimed: Rolderathis was stricken with a bad case of work, the nefarious data claw used to compile this list needed repairs, and several bands got slashed from the list for being dickheads or looking a lot like dickheads. Turns out it’s only medieval in subject matter, not instrumentation, but that’s enough of a breath of fresh air already, especially for the cover art. Great knuckle-dragging death with a Takafumi Matsubara guest spot on the preview track. That guy knows what’s up.
