Toxic Ruin – Nightmare Eclipse (M-Theory Audio) [Progressive Death Thrash]

My favorite takes on thrash are always those that blend in bits of influence outside the genre; in that regard, Toxic Ruin are exactly what I look for. The beauty in this is that they’re not really in your face about the prog or death metal influences; it’s very much thrash, but just touched up with some other sounds for some extra texture. Fans of Hemotoxin’s Unspeakable Axe debut are going to like this one a lot. 8/27/21 (Spear)
