Flush it Friday: Lacertilian’s Long-Lost Link
I don’t know if you got the memo, but dinosaurs were, are, and always will be siqq AF. It’s so tantalizing: knowing we’ll only ever have these ancient remnants in the ground, always wondering what it would be like to see these terrible lizards in the flesh. (Unless you’re in some weird Michael Crichton-based cult and believe the Jurassic Park novels are prophetic texts. Or you live in Florida.) Earlier this week, the discovery of a new species, Australotitan cooperensis, was announced: a 90ft-long sauropod that lumbered through southwest Queensland ~90 million years ago. If you slow down and really think about how long ago that is, your brain will explode in the best way. There will never be anything cooler than dinos. But TovH comes pretty close.
