Agony Reigns – The Tragedy in Understanding Nothing (Independent) [Melodeath/Thrash]

I’m a big fan of the intersection of thrash and melodeath, and Agony Reigns a well-produced example of said intersection. It’s not groundbreaking stuff by any measure, but I’ll be damned if it’s not a lot of fun. The shrieked vocals and punchy riffing give off the same kind of vibe as other recent acts in the same field such as Snakeblade and Bloodletter, and at name-your-price, I’ll be more than happy to add it to my collection alongside those two. 11/12/21 (Spear)
