This Toilet, Uh, Wednesday (11/3/21)
If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s procrastinating, but the reason you’re getting TTT late this week is because I’ve spent the last two days oozing shocking amounts of mucus from my face. Too much information? Probably, but it comes with the Toilet territory. In any case, November release season is in full swing, meaning we’re seeing just a shitload of DSBM projects crawling out of the woodwork to channel their seasonal affective disorder into something creative. There is, of course, plenty of other stuff for the non-sadbois in the crowd, so hit that list and share what you’re listening to this week.
Exsanguinated – Millions of Tortured Souls (Independent) [Death Metal]

It wouldn’t be a Tuesday Wednesday without me hawking some variety of dirty death metal, and this week’s band is Exsanguinated. Millions of Tortured Souls is dark and cavernous without necessarily being what I’d call Cavernous™, if you catch my drift; this is way too steeped in the sounds of Demilich, Demigod, and I’m sure a whole host of other Demi-bands to really qualify for that. It carries that dismal atmosphere of something like Incantation with way more riffing power, basically. Cool shit from this band, and it’ll be interesting to see where they go next. 11/3/21 (Spear)
