Mixing thrash, death metal, and that sweet, sweet Gothenburg sound, Assimilator (formerly known as Death On Fire), are a blast of straight-forward monstrous metal. The cavernous barks, unrelenting rhythms, shredding give you a little bit of everything. Today, the band is unleashing their latest single “Like Whispers Singing”, an aggressive ripper with enough melody to keep you coming back for more.

Quick and dirty and full of serial killer remorse. This is our ballad written through the eyes of a killer. It’s something like Nick Cave and Macabre’s weird offspring would write…maybe. Either way it’s sure to wreck a neck or three”
