Rings Of Saturn – Margidda: A Video Breakdown
In a gadda Margidda, honey
Don’t you know that I’m lovin’ you
In a gadda Margidda, baby
Don’t you know that I’ll always be true
I always confuse Rings of Saturn with The Faceless. It might be because they came out around the same time or the focus on spacey alien things. They’re both techy deathy bands. They’re both from California. They both have scary merchandise. They both seem to go through a lot of members too. Of course, Rings of Saturn are nowhere near the flaming airplane wreckage that is Michael Keene And The Facelesses. Despite a little controversy around possibly recording at half speed, Rings of Saturn seems to just be a bunch of goofy nerds that like to go weedily deedily (please correct me if I’m wrong in the comments). The goofiness is cranked to Alpha Centauri levels with their new music video for the song “Margidda”.
Oh, so this is why you don’t want to take the brown acid.
Newsweek‘s Kurt Eichenwald is just here for research purposes only.
