This song is fucking bonkers, hell the whole album is fucking bonkers. It’s the most batshit insane thing I’ve heard this year, but this riff in particular just worms its way in and out of my skull every time I hear it shortly before pulverizing it.

I was just out for a walk, listening to this one, trying to count out the time signature, only to find that the motherfucker is in (I’m pretty sure) 4/4. Sometimes the best head-spinnin’ riffs are the ones that are simple but SOUND complicated.

Hypocrisy – “Eraser” (Riff @ 1:37)
I’ve submitted a Hypocrisy riff that simultaneously makes my head spin and ponder whether the Truth is Out There. Also its got a music video that is nearly identical to Eiffel 65’s 1999 smash hit “Blue (Da Ba Dee)”. It’s poorly lit so I don’t know exactly what’s going on, but I’ve surmised there’s a band, some blue people, and cybergoth/rave dancing. So yeah, more or less the same music video.
