Riffs from Spectral Wound, Warbringer, Bewitcher, Jupiter, and Spirit Possession.

Last week we went one-on-one for our Solo Artist Edition. And for the first time in a few weeks, the majority of you made the responsible choice and overwhelmingly voted for something deserving. The upcoming beast from Cosmic Putrefaction scored the victory.

This week’s theme was Spirit(s)
Let’s see what you sent in…

Hans
Spirit Possession – ‘Amongst inverted castles and holy laughter’ (Riff @ 2:09)

Giddily jumped on this when I saw it compared to Funereal Presence. Got even giddier when I realised it fits this week’s theme. Mostly just submitting to spark some giddiness in you, too.

McNulty
Warbringer – “Silhouettes” (Riff @ 1:10)

Right as John Kevill decries, “THEY’RE GHOSTS” all hell breaks loose. What a speedy damn thrash riff. Grade A Warbringer right here.

Gojira_Blume
Spectral Wound – ‘Woods From Which The Spirits Once So Loudly Howled’ (Riff @ 1:29)

Track’s a massive grower.

Holdeneye
Bewitcher – “Under the Witching Cross” (Riff @ 1:00)

This punky blackened speed riff won’t win any awards, but I want to raise a toast to all of you for being cool humans. May the Chalice of Rock ‘n Roll never run dry of your chosen quarantine spirit. Cheers!

Lacertilian
Jupiter – ‘Spirit Of The Leech’ (Riff @ 0:33)

Whoms’t remember saying whoms’t remember and also listening to this proto-metal throwback trip-out?
