Like clockwork, Toilet Tuesday has once again crawled its way out of your plumbing like the horrible shit gremlin that it is to slop unceremoniously across your breakfast. And like disgusting beasts made of bowel excretion, this week’s selection kinda stinks. Hans has something for you, but very little caught my eye. Let us know if there’s more we should check out.

I quite dig this somewhat rickety sound bordering on lo-fi paired with the grandiose air that the vocals and synths are going for. The latter are integrated really well, while I’m not sure if the former would work for an entire album. The second, instrumental half of the song certainly feels more intriguing. That’s also where the “violent psychedelia” mentioned in the promo text kicks into higher gear. Now, what sinisterly okkvlt reasons might a label have to drop all their releases on Saturdays? 1/23/21 (Hans)
