It is Toilet Tuesday my dudes/dudettes/dudex(?), and we’ve got lots to listen to this week. There’s a lot of good stuff on the list (and boy is it a big one), and I’m gonna need some help sifting through it all. Give some of that a go and see what catches your ear.
Besieged – Violence Beyond All Reason (Unspeakable Axe) [Thrash]

I didn’t know this was coming out until last night, and I’ve already listened to it three times end to end. This is thrash very befitting the album’s name; it’s relentless in its speed and ferocity, and everything from the guitars to the vocals to the drums just rips. It’s all great stuff, but I really like the little bits here and there that get kinda techy, calling to mind some of Revocation’s earliest material, though a bit more refined. Fantastic album, gets my highest recommendation. 6/6/22 (Spear)
