I’m cautiously totally stoked about this new Pinocchio stop-motion animated film by Guillermo del Toro, as I’ve heard it channels the dark subject matter of the original story, and seems to have met with rave reviews. Between this, Mad God, and Kubo and the Two Strings (I know, I know, that came out almost 7 years ago), it seems like…very few people are still doing this style, but I’ll take what I can get!
