Sunday Sesh: Life is Pain(t)
For every Girardi and Smith out there, a wellspring of talent toils under the radar; today, all of that ends. We’ve got a vibrant community swirling around in this here Toilet, and I knew that given the chance, some true feats of artistry would emerge.
For that reason, and with inspiration from a particular Facebook group, I decided to run an art contest of sorts, mining the depths of the TovH Discord server for participants. The rules were simple (although getting people to follow every guideline was like catching a greased-up Manowar fan): pick an album, recreate it in MS Paint (or a similar program), and make sure it’s at least sort of shitty. To lure out the lurkers, I attached a free album on Bandcamp to a stick and waved it in front of a fan to get that sweet, sweet scent into their nostrils.
This is where you come in, Disqus: I need your help to decide who shall be victorious. Just comment below (one vote per user) and let me know which of these gems shines the brightest (hyperlinks lead to the original artwork for each band).
